Various publications were recently completed with the cooperation of local communities as part of TLI’s project on the past, present and future of Jewry in the Hungarian countryside.

The exhibition entitled “We lived together, we live together” has been on display in the Synagogue of Pécs for 5 years. This year, TLI supported the creation of a teacher’s handbook to compliment the content on display. The goal of the publication is to introduce new ways to teach about the Jewry of Pécs in schools of the region and also to help teachers prepare for viewing the exhibition with their students.

In addition, we have provided support in organising a series of teacher trainings where the publication was presented and further explained to the teachers.
