Shalomedu is a user-friendly online database developed by the Tom Lantos Institute to make non-formal educational initiatives on antisemitism, the Holocaust and Jewry accessible and searchable, thereby facilitating their use in schools and their integration into lesson plans. The database aims to bridge the gap between formal and non-formal educational initiatives.
The online database includes a collection of international guidelines on addressing antisemitism, the Holocaust, and Jewish life through education and related teaching aids. With the assistance of teachers, relevant NGOs, and educational experts, we aim to promote and continue to develop the database.
Shalomedu was co-funded by the European Union’s Rights, Equality and Citizenship Programme (2014-2020).
