On the occasion of the Holocaust Memorial Day on 27th January, a group of contemporary artists have created alternative memorials to commemorate the events of the Holocaust.
The works of the artists (Csönge Balla, Lőrinc Borsos, Ferenc Gróf, David Karas, It wasn’t us! Crew, Klára Rudas) were exhibited in public spaces, but only for a short time. They can now be viewed online (http://enyeszpontok.tumblr.com ).
The curator of the exhibition is Tamás Don and the project was initiated by the Tom Lantos Institute.
The background to the artists can be found here: http://enyeszpontok.tumblr.com/stab
