The Tom Lantos Institute (TLI) is looking for a dedicated Programme Manager to take forward its work in the Roma Rights and Citizenship Programme.
TLI is an independent human and minority rights organisation with a particular focus on Roma, Jewish and Hungarian communities and other ethnic or national, linguistic and religious minorities. As an international research and education platform, TLI aims to bridge the gap between research and policy, norms and practice.
Within TLI's mission and mandate, TLI promotes the self-understanding and participation of minority communities and focuses on the broadest possible socialisation of human rights and minority rights through research, education, public debates, publishing, and memorialisation.
TLI is an international civil society organisation currently operating with 10 permanent staff members. Our working languages are Hungarian and English.
Job summary
The Programme Manager is in charge of TLI’s “Roma Rights and Citizenship” programme. S/he designs the strategy of the programme within TLI’s mandate focusing on research and education. S/he manages the design, implementation and evaluation of the projects and activities of the programme, including financial and administrative planning and implementation.
This is a full-time position based in Budapest, Hungary.

The Programme Manager works in cooperation with the Director, Deputy Director, Head of Programmes, Financial Manager, Programme Managers and Programme Assistants.
Essential Skills and Experience
