The Tom Lantos Institute (TLI) is looking for a dedicated programme manager to take forward its work in Jewish Life and Countering Antisemitism.
TLI is an independent human and minority rights organisation with a particular focus on Jewish, Roma and Hungarian communities and other ethnic or national, linguistic and religious minorities. As an international research and education platform, TLI aims to bridge the gap between research and policy, norms and practice. TLI promotes the self-understandings and participation of minority communities and focuses on the broadest possible socialisation of human rights.
TLI is an international civil society organisation currently operating with 12 permanent staff members. Our working language is English and Hungarian.
The programme manager is in charge of the Institute’s “Jewish Life and Countering Antisemitism” programme. He/she designs the strategy of the programme within TLI’s mission focusing on research and education. He/she manages the design, implementation and evaluation of the projects and activities belonging to the programme, including financial and administrative planning and implementation.
The programme manager reports to the Head of Programmes.
This is a full-time position based in Budapest, Hungary.
Besides the above, carry out all necessary tasks belonging to the area of work.
The Programme Manager works in cooperation with the Director, Deputy Director, Head of Programmes, Financial Manager, and Programme Managers.
Essential Skills and Experience

Work experience in the academia and/or civil sector; organisational and management skills.
