Shalomedu is the user-friendly online database developed by the Tom Lantos Institute to make non-formal educational initiatives on antisemitism, the Holocaust and Jewish life accessible and searchable, thus facilitating their use in schools and their integration into lesson plans. The database aims to bridge the gap between formal and non-formal educational initiatives.

Shalomedu will be updated in 2022 and new features will be added to the database to facilitate teachers' work. With the assistance of experts, an overview of international guidelines for teaching about antisemitism, the Holocaust, and Jewish life will be prepared and published on Shalomedu.

Shalomedu was co-funded by the European Union’s Rights, Equality and Citizenship Programme (2014-2020).
